Bio
Anna Kiggins writes poems, essays, and fiction. She recently earned an MFA in creative writing from Hollins University. Perhaps more importantly, she embraces whimsy and dirty data whilst railing against tyranny. Her poetry can be found in Puerto del Sol, The Basilisk Tree, AvantAppalachia, The Brussels Review, and Writers Resist. Her reviews can be found in The Hollins Critic. She lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she is currently working on her first novel about three friends growing up within homeschool Christian conservative culture in Oklahoma. Here she is pictured touching the sun:

At some point my own
narrative always fails me
but the sun changes
everything:
ocean with sunglasses on
ocean with sunglasses off
